FAQ

What brands of windows and doors do you carry?

We carry our own Private Label lines of windows & doors called Avery Premier Windows and Doors. We use several Top 100 rated manufacturers that are some of the biggest, most respected, and oldest companies in the United States. They make our windows according to our exact specifications for glass and frame efficiency, colors, and styles. We are very picky about ours because they all carry our specific set of lifetime warranties and guarantees.

It's very important that you know that you CAN NOT judge a window or accurately compare estimates based solely on the manufacturer because ALL window manufactures of many lines of window products that vary greatly in materials, qualities, glass and frame packages, etc. They all typically have a contractor/builder series window that range from cheap to good. They also typically carry a pro/moderate series window that range from good to very good. The Pro series and contractor series are usually the quality you can expect from about 90% of window contractors. Finally they all typically carry a Premium/luxury series window which is what we use and we also typically add a lot of extra upgrades to those to insure that you are getting the absolute finest quality and efficiency ratings for YOUR home and YOUR climate. Because we ALWAYS buy the best windows and options from our manufacturers, we are able to get excellent pricing and that means you can get premium/luxury quality windows for the same price or less than what the other guys charge for their moderate quality windows and doors.

Some of the primary window and door manufacturers we use are: PlyGem Windows, Vista Windows, Don young Company Windows, ProVia, & Thermatru.**

Some of the secondary window and door manufacturers that we use are: Andersen, Pella, Masonite, Simonton, NT Windows, Atrium, and many more.** We typically only use these other brands if necessary to match existing windows in your home or you have some very specific need for a particular feature or material. They would not have as thorough warranty coverage as Our Avery Premier Windows.

How long does it take to get a window or door estimate?

Most appointments take between 1-2 hours, but some can take 45 minutes or less and some can take much longer depending on how many windows you have, How many questions you have, etc.

Keep in mind we have to sit down with you and go over exactly what your wants and needs are. You and your consultant will have to thoroughly inspect and measure each window and discuss all recommended options, styles, colors, glass packages, frame materials, etc.

You and your consultant will then need to sit back down and inspect the samples of the windows you choose, price out and list each individual window, then go over what options will get you the most comfort, energy savings, return on investment and then possibly adjust those options according to your budget or how long you're planning to live in home, how much you can really save on your energy bills, make final decisions and then your consultant can go over all the available discounts and ideas that will save you the most money in the short term and long term.

Only then can your consultant figure an exact price and fill out an agreement form that includes all details and specifications to leave with you so you can compare with other bids or so that you can go over financing options in order to make a purchase.
